ILE Supply Your Own Bundles Wig Construction Service
ILE’s Wig Construction Service includes a FULLY custom, machine made wig constructed on a dome mesh cap. This service provides full customization and styling, delivering a constructed, customized, and styled ready to wear wig.
⚠️ Hair is NOT included in this service. Color Services are NOT offered at this time.

Hair Selection – Provide Your Own Hair
If you choose to provide your own hair, please read and follow the hair guidelines below carefully.
Please note: If you provide bundles or lace not purchased from ILE, and the hair does not meet our guidelines upon inspection, we reserve the right to return your hair and refund the service fee.
Shipping & Drop-Off Instructions
Shipping Instructions:
You are responsible for shipping your hair to us. The shipping option selected at checkout covers the return shipment of your completed wig.
To ship your hair to us, please email Islandluxeextensions@gmail.com after purchasing with your full name and order number. Once received, we will provide you with the shipping address.
Please ship your hair bundles within 3 business days of receiving the shipping address. Be sure to include a note inside the package with your full name and order number.
Drop-Off Instructions:
To drop off your hair, please email Islandluxeextensions@gmail.com after purchasing with your full name and order number. Once received, we will provide you with the drop-off address.
Place your hair in a bag and include a note with your full name and order number.
If you are dropping off and picking up your wig, please select Pick Up at checkout to avoid the shipping fee.
If you are dropping off your hair and want the completed wig shipped back to you, please proceed through checkout as normal and select a shipping option.
Hair Guidelines
- Bundles must be CLEAN, thread-free, and labeled (ex: 22”, 24”, 26”)
- NO cut-up wefts
- New lace is preferred; gently worn lace is accepted
- Human, Virgin, or Raw hair ONLY
- NO synthetic hair accepted
- Thick hairline lace or low-quality lace (beauty supply, synthetic, etc.) is NOT accepted
Processing Time & Shipping / Pick-Up Window
- Custom Wig Services have an estimated 5–7 BUSINESS DAY processing time
If you ship or drop off hair:
Processing begins the next business day after your hair is delivered to us.

Curly Extensions FAQs
Shedding & Tangling
Shedding is a normal part of wearing curly extensions. Because they’re made from real human hair, some shedding can occur over time, just as it does with natural hair.
You may notice shedding more during your first detangle or wash, as any loose strands from the wefting process are released. With a consistent haircare routine, you can expect minimal shedding each day.
Curly hair will tangle. It is simply the nature of curly textures. Sleeping on it, sweating, working out, and everyday activities friction against your clothes or the back of your neck can cause the curls to tangle up over time. I always recommend detangling the hair at least every 3 to 4 days so it does not become overly tangled or matted. Letting hair go too long without detangling can cause more shedding than usual when you finally comb through it.
Important
Always detangle the hair when it’s damp and conditioned. Handling it while dry can create tension and lead to shedding.
Red/Golds Strands
Red/Gold Strands: Even though the strands are barely visible, Red/Gold strands in virgin hair can naturally occur after the steaming process. These strands are not synthetic—synthetic fibers would melt like plastic, whereas real hair burns to ash. In some cases, donors may also have naturally occurring red/Gold tones due to UV exposure from sunlight.
Length Check
Hair bundles are measured when stretched, not in their natural curly state. The tighter the curl pattern, the more shrinkage occurs. To get an accurate length, gently stretch the bundle and measure from the weft to the tip of the hair. This ensures you capture the true length, especially for curly or wavy textures, which can appear shorter due to shrinkage.

Processing Times & Shipping
Please review the processing time for each product before purchasing, as some items process faster than others.
Each product includes an estimated ship-out date to help you know when your order will be processed and shipped.
We do not guarantee exact delivery dates, as shipping times vary by location. We only guarantee processing completion times. Unforeseen delays may occur, but you will always be notified.
Processing Schedule
Our processing days are Monday through Friday only.
Weekends and holidays are not included when calculating your order’s processing time.
We recommend using the estimated ship-out date listed on each product page for the most accurate timeline.
No Rush Orders
We do not accept rush orders, including for preorders. All orders go through their full processing time.
Please plan accordingly when booking appointments, traveling, or preparing for events.
We are not responsible for orders that do not arrive in time for personal deadlines.

Please read all POLICIES carefully before placing an order so you fully understand the process.
We are a small business with our own set of policies that may differ from others, especially regarding cancellations, refunds, and shipping.
By placing an order, you agree to our terms and policies.
Order Status Inquiries
Please refrain from contacting IslandLuxe Extensions regarding the status of your order during the processing period.
We kindly ask that you wait until the full processing timeframe has ended before reaching out for updates.
For example, if your order has a 2–3 week processing time, please do not contact us at the end of week 2. Instead, wait until the end of week 3 before inquiring about your order status.
In most cases, you will receive an email update about your order if there is a delay before the end of the processing period. If you have not received any communication, tracking information, or order updates after the full processing period has passed, you may then contact us for assistance.
