The following terms and conditions outline our full Shipping, Tracking, and Fulfillment Policy. By finalizing your purchase, you acknowledge and agree to this policy in its entirety.

1. ORDER PROCESSING

Order Processing is the first stage of fulfilling your purchase. This includes payment verification, order review, and preparation. Processing is critical to ensuring your order is properly accounted for and packaged before shipment.

Processing officially begins the next business day after your order is placed:

  • Orders placed on Monday–Thursday begin processing the following business day.
  • Orders placed on Friday–Sunday begin processing on Monday (or the next available business day if Monday is a holiday).

Please note: Submitting your order and receiving a confirmation email does not mean the order has started moving through fulfillment. Processing must first occur to ensure secure payment verification and product availability.


2. BUSINESS DAYS AND HOLIDAYS

IslandLuxe Extensions operates on business days only (Monday–Friday). Weekends and holidays are not considered processing or shipping days.

This distinction is important when estimating your order’s timeline. For example, if an order’s fulfillment duration is 7–10 business days, you must exclude weekends and holidays from that count.

The following are U.S. observed holidays that are excluded from our processing and shipping calendar:

  • New Year’s Eve
  • New Year’s Day
  • Martin Luther King Jr. Day
  • Presidents Day
  • Memorial Day
  • Juneteenth
  • Independence Day (July 4th)
  • Labor Day
  • Columbus Day
  • Veterans Day
  • Thanksgiving Day
  • Christmas Eve
  • Christmas Day

Orders placed during or around these dates may experience longer processing and fulfillment times.


3. ESTIMATED FULFILLMENT DURATIONS

Fulfillment refers to the amount of time required for us to prepare, package, and hand off your order to the shipping carrier. Fulfillment is separate from the carrier’s delivery timeframe.

Each product type has a different fulfillment window, which is listed under the product details on our website. For example:

  • Ready-to-Ship Products: Typically 1–5 business days.
  • Bundles, Lace, Uncustomized Units, and Non-Lace Products: May require 7–15 business days.
  • Custom Wigs or Custom Color Wigs/Bundles: May require 15–25 business days.

Fulfillment durations are estimates, not guarantees. During sales events, holidays, or times of high demand, fulfillment may extend beyond the typical window.


4. CALCULATING YOUR SHIPPING WINDOW

To manually calculate your shipping window:

  1. Identify your product’s fulfillment timeframe (see section 3).
  2. Begin counting from the next business day after purchase.
  3. Exclude weekends and holidays (see section 2).
  4. Continue counting until you reach the last day of your fulfillment window.

Example: If you order a lace closure on Friday with a 7–15 business day fulfillment window, processing begins Monday. Counting business days only, your shipping window will fall between the following Wednesday–Friday.

This calculation estimates the timeframe when your order will be handed to UPS. It does not include delivery days.


5. ORDER TRACKING, STATUS, AND UPDATES

We provide order status updates through automated email notifications only. We do not issue individual progress updates during fulfillment.

  • Order Confirmation Email: Sent immediately after purchase. Includes your order number, itemized list, and estimated fulfillment window.
  • Shipping Confirmation Email: Sent once your order is packaged and handed to UPS. Contains your tracking number. Tracking may take 24–48 hours to update within UPS’s system.
  • Tracking Your Package: Use the link provided in your Shipping Confirmation Email to track directly with UPS. You may also enter your tracking number on UPS’s official website.

Customers are responsible for monitoring their shipment via the tracking link provided.


6. SHIPPING METHODS AND COSTS

Shipping methods chosen at checkout apply only to carrier transit time, not fulfillment.

We primarily ship via:

  • UPS Ground (Standard): Delivery in 2–5 business days, depending on destination.
  • UPS 2nd Day Air / Next Day Air (Expedited): Available at checkout for faster transit. Please note expedited shipping does not shorten fulfillment.

Shipping costs are automatically calculated at checkout based on your location, package weight, and selected service.


7. ORDER PICK-UP (LOCAL CUSTOMERS)

IslandLuxe Extensions offers Local Pick-Up for customers in the Baltimore, MD area.

  • Processing and fulfillment windows remain the same as shipped orders.
  • Once your order is ready, you will receive a Pick-Up Ready Email with the exact address, available pick-up times, and instructions.
  • Pick-ups must be completed during designated business hours. Orders not picked up within the specified timeframe may be canceled or rescheduled at our discretion.

8. SHIPPING DELIVERY

UPS determines delivery timeframes once a package leaves our possession. Typical delivery windows for UPS Ground are 2–5 business days. Delivery estimates provided at checkout are generated by UPS and should be considered estimates only. IslandLuxe Extensions has no control over delivery once UPS has received your package. Customers should use their tracking link for real-time updates.

After your package has been shipped, UPS takes full responsibility for its safe and timely delivery. While we make every effort to provide accurate shipping estimates, exact delivery dates cannot be guaranteed, as they depend on the carrier’s operations and potential unforeseen events. Conditions such as severe weather, increased shipping volume, or other disruptions within UPS’s network may impact the actual arrival of your order.

Once your order has been shipped, please note that IslandLuxe Extensions no longer has control over the handling or transit time of your package. We encourage you to use the tracking number provided to follow your shipment’s journey and stay informed with real-time updates from UPS. For any delivery-related concerns or questions, UPS is the best point of contact, as they have the most accurate and current information about your package. Their customer service team can assist you directly with any issues regarding the status or arrival of your order.


9. FULFILLMENT AND SHIPPING DELAYS

Delays may occur due to:

  • High order volumes (holidays, promotions, or new launches)
  • Carrier disruptions within UPS’s network ( transportation network, technical glitches, or other operational challenges)
  • Weather events or natural disasters (storms, floods, hurricanes, etc.)
  • International customs inspections ( document verification, and compliance checks)

If significant delays occur, IslandLuxe Extensions will notify customers via email. While we strive to meet all estimated windows, delivery timelines cannot be guaranteed.


10. LOST OR STOLEN PACKAGES

Once UPS has possession of your order, responsibility for its safe delivery transfers to them.

  • If your package is marked “delivered” but cannot be located, please contact UPS directly to open a claim.
  • Customers are encouraged to create a UPS My Choice account to manage deliveries and add special instructions (e.g., leave at back door, hold at UPS location).
  • Consider shipping to a secure address (workplace, UPS Access Point, etc.) if package theft is a concern.

IslandLuxe Extensions is not responsible for lost, stolen, or misdelivered packages once handed to UPS.


11. WRONG ADDRESS DISCLAIMER

Customers are responsible for entering accurate shipping details at checkout. Please double-check your information before finalizing your purchase.

Once an order has been submitted, IslandLuxe Extensions cannot modify the address. If your order has already shipped, you may be able to update delivery using UPS My Choice with your tracking number.

Packages returned due to incorrect addresses may be subject to reshipment fees.


12. INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING

IslandLuxe Extensions is proud to serve customers worldwide with international shipping.

We currently ship to a wide variety of countries, giving customers across the globe access to our products. At checkout, you will be able to select your country from the available list. If your country does not appear as an option, please reach out to our customer support team for assistance.

During checkout, you will also see the international shipping methods available for your location, along with estimated delivery times and associated costs. Please keep in mind that delivery estimates are only approximations. Actual delivery times may vary depending on the destination, chosen shipping method, customs clearance procedures, and other unforeseen factors.

Once your order has been shipped, you will receive a confirmation email containing a tracking number so you can follow your package’s journey. Please note that tracking may not be available in all countries or for all shipping options.


13. DUTIES, FEES, AND TAXES

Please be aware that international shipments may be subject to additional duties, taxes, or customs fees imposed by your country’s government. These charges are not collected by IslandLuxe Extensions and do not go to us—they are paid directly to your government or customs authority.

  • Customer Responsibility: All duties, taxes, and customs fees are the sole responsibility of the customer. These costs are not included in the product price or shipping fee displayed at checkout. By placing an order, you agree to comply with your country’s import regulations and to pay any charges that may apply.
  • Payment of Charges: Your local customs office may require payment of duties, taxes, or other fees before your package is released for final delivery. Failure to pay these charges may result in delivery delays or the package being returned to us at your expense.
  • Customs Documentation: IslandLuxe Extensions provides all required shipping documents, such as commercial invoices and customs declarations, to assist with clearance. Please ensure the information you provide at checkout is accurate and complete, as errors can delay processing at customs.
  • Country Regulations: Customs rules and import policies vary by country. We recommend contacting your local customs authority to learn about any charges that may apply before placing your order.

By completing an international purchase with IslandLuxe Extensions, you acknowledge and accept responsibility for any duties, taxes, or fees assessed by your country.


14. RETURNED PACKAGES AND RESHIPMENT POLICY

If a package is returned to IslandLuxe Extensions due to an incorrect or incomplete address, failure to pick up, or refusal of delivery, the customer will be responsible for all reshipment fees. Before placing an order, please ensure that your shipping information is accurate and complete.

Once a returned package is received, IslandLuxe Extensions will contact the customer to arrange reshipment. The package will only be sent again after the reshipment fee has been paid. We will send you an invoice for the Return & Re-Dispatch Fee, which includes the cost of reshipping your package plus an additional $45 inconvenience fee for retrieving the returned package, resending Tracking Information, and making an extra trip back to the UPS office. Once your payment has been received, we will ship your package within 1–2 business days.

We strongly encourage customers to double-check their shipping information and consider using UPS My Choice or secure delivery locations to avoid returned packages and additional fees.
